FREE TWITTER / X PHOTO TOOL
Twitter Image Downloader
Save photos from a Twitter or X post in the highest available resolution. Paste a post link, preview every picture and download individual images or a ZIP of the full set.
Download photos from a post
Paste one public post link. Preview its photos, then save the files.
Requests the largest image X makes available. No screenshot or re-encoding.
Keep a multi-photo post together. ZIP creation happens in your browser.
Available photos inside an embedded quote are labeled with their source.
How to download photos from Twitter
Copy the post link
Open the post in X and choose Share → Copy link. Paste the complete x.com or twitter.com link above. A link ending in /photo/1 works too; the tool looks for all supported photos in that post.
Preview the pictures
Select Find images. Each photo gets its own card. Photos from a quoted post are labeled with a link to that source, so you can keep track of where each picture came from.
Save one photo or the whole set
Select Download photo, then Save photo when the file is ready. For a multi-image post, choose Download all photos (ZIP), then Save ZIP. Keep the page open while preparing the files. Cancel is available if you need to stop.
A Twitter photo downloader for full-size images
A screenshot captures the image as it appears on your screen, often with surrounding interface elements. This tool retrieves the image file instead. It requests the largest original variant exposed by X and preserves the returned bytes, without cropping, sharpening, enlarging or adding a watermark.
“Original” describes the version available from X, not necessarily the exact file the photographer uploaded. X may already have compressed or resized it. A small source stays small; the tool does not invent HD or 4K detail. Once a photo is prepared, its dimensions, format and file size appear with the preview.
JPEG, PNG and WebP downloads
The filename follows the format X actually returns. Photos are not forced into a different format. Image names include the source post ID and their position in the result, which makes a downloaded set easier to organize.
Download all Twitter images as a ZIP
Use the ZIP option to save the returned photos together in one download. Every image remains a separate file inside the archive. Creating a ZIP does not resize the pictures or turn them into a collage, and it requires no further post lookup.
This works with the photo attachments from one post and an available embedded quote, up to eight images. It is not a bulk account downloader or a thread crawler. Video thumbnails and website link previews are not treated as attached photos.
Save X photos on iPhone, Android and desktop
On a phone, copy the post link in the X app and open this page in your browser. After preparing a photo, tap Save photo. Look in the browser’s download list or your Files app. On iPhone, open the image and use the available Share or Save Image control to move it into Photos. On Android, open the file from Downloads or your file manager.
For a ZIP, extract the archive before opening its photos in your gallery. Desktop browsers usually save files to Downloads. If saving is blocked, Open image opens the full-size source in another tab, where your browser may offer Save image as or a long-press saving option.
When a Twitter picture cannot be downloaded
Protected, deleted or restricted posts may be unavailable. The data source or shared lookup allowance can also be temporarily limited. A missing result does not establish that an account or post has been removed.
The in-browser saving limit is 20 MB per photo and 80 MB per set. If a preview loads but saving fails, try Open image. For animated attachments, use the Twitter GIF Downloader; for videos, use the Twitter Video Downloader.
Twitter image downloader questions
How do I download an image from Twitter or X?
Copy the post link from X, paste it into the field and select Find images. Choose Download photo, then Save photo when the file is ready. For several pictures, choose Download all photos (ZIP), then Save ZIP.
Is this Twitter photo downloader free?
Yes. You do not need a Fireply account, an X login, a subscription or a browser extension. Lookups are subject to shared usage limits. Repeated lookups can use a recently cached result.
Does it download Twitter pictures in original quality?
The tool requests the largest original image variant available from X and saves those bytes without resizing or re-encoding. X may have compressed or resized the upload already. We cannot recover detail removed before the file reached the tool, and not every photo is HD or 4K.
Can I download all images from a tweet?
Yes. All supported photo attachments returned for one post appear separately, including photos in an embedded quoted post. Use the ZIP option when there is more than one image. A ZIP keeps each file unchanged; it does not reduce image quality.
How do I save Twitter photos on iPhone or Android?
Open this page in your browser and paste the post link. Prepare the download, then tap Save photo or Save ZIP. Check the browser downloads or Files app. On iPhone, open the downloaded image and use Share → Save Image if available. On Android, use your file manager or gallery to open the saved image. ZIP files need to be extracted first.
Can I download photos from a private account?
This tool does not log in to X or unlock protected posts. Deleted, restricted or unavailable posts may not return photos. A failed lookup can also mean the data source is temporarily unavailable; it does not prove the post was deleted.
Why does the post show no photos?
The post may contain only a video, animated GIF, link preview or external image rather than a supported photo attachment. Use our separate video or GIF downloader for moving media. If the source could not be read, the tool reports that separately from a result with no photos.
Can I download every image from an account?
No. This page works with one post link at a time. It does not crawl profiles, download an entire account history or collect images from a whole thread. For another post, paste its own link.
What formats and file sizes are supported?
Supported photos are saved as JPEG, PNG or WebP according to the file returned by X. The tool supports up to 20 MB per photo and 80 MB across a set of up to eight photos, including an embedded quote. Use Open image if a file exceeds the saving limit or the browser blocks the download.
Does Fireply add a watermark or store the image?
Fireply adds no watermark and does not re-encode the downloaded image. Existing marks in the photo remain. Files travel from X’s media servers directly to your browser. Post details and image links may be cached for one hour; ZIP files are assembled on your device.
