Twitter Shadowban Checker
Wondering why your posts or replies are hard to find? Check your X profile, search visibility and a sampled reply, with evidence you can review.
Check your visibility on X
A public username. No account connection.
Is the account accessible?
Do posts appear in search?
Is a sampled reply returned?
How the Twitter shadowban test works
Enter your username
Use the account’s handle. If you have a particular reply in mind, expand the optional field and paste its X link.
Check a small public sample
We check profile access, search for posts by that account and look for a sampled reply in its parent conversation.
Review the evidence
Each result says what was found, what could not be checked and when the check ran. Open the evidence on X to compare.
What a search visibility result means
The search test uses a from:username query. A returned post is evidence that it appeared in that data source’s search results at the check time. An empty sample can also reflect account inactivity, search indexing, protected posts or filtering.
X explains that search and conversation visibility can vary because of ranking, safety controls and other factors. Read X’s search troubleshooting guidance and its explanation of limited post reach. You can also build your own query with our Twitter advanced search tool.
Ghost ban checker: testing reply visibility
When we can retrieve a reply by the account, we compare its ID with posts returned from its parent’s conversation. You can provide a specific reply link when the automatic search does not find one.
This check covers one conversation page. A reply missing from that page may appear further down the thread, behind a visibility control, or for a different viewer. We report that it was not found in the sample rather than declaring a ghost ban. Reply ranking and search suggestions are not tested.
What to do if your Twitter posts aren’t showing
Open the linked search or conversation and compare what another viewer can see. Confirm whether the account protects its posts and review any notices from X. Try a recent reply link if the tool could not find one automatically.
If a service failed, wait and try later. If X has explicitly restricted the account or a post, follow its instructions for review. Repeated checks cannot remove a restriction, and this tool cannot promise a recovery time.
Twitter shadowban checker questions
How do I check if I’m shadowbanned on Twitter?
Enter your public X username and run the check. Fireply looks at profile access, a sample of Latest search results and, when available, one reply in its parent conversation. Review each observation and its linked evidence. Missing data is not enough to confirm a ban.
What is a ghost ban on Twitter / X?
People use ghost ban to describe replies they can see themselves but other people cannot easily find in a conversation. This tool checks whether one known reply appears in a returned conversation sample. It cannot establish what every logged-in or logged-out viewer sees.
Why is my ghost ban test marked not found or not checked?
Not found means the sampled reply was absent from the conversation page returned to the checker. The page may be incomplete or ranked differently. Not checked means we did not have a suitable reply to test. You can supply a link to a reply by the same account; neither label proves a ghost ban.
Can this checker detect reply deboosting or a search suggestion ban?
No. Reply deboosting concerns how replies are ranked or placed behind additional controls. Search suggestion bans concern account autocomplete. The data used here does not reliably establish either condition, so we do not manufacture results for them.
Does a visible result mean my account has no restrictions?
No. It means that particular profile, search result or sampled reply was returned during this check. Other posts, countries, filters and viewers may have different visibility. This is a visibility sample, not an official account-status report from X.
Is the Twitter shadowban checker free?
Yes. No signup, password or X account connection is required. Checks have shared usage limits to keep the tool free. Recent results may be reused for six hours, with the original check time shown. If the data service is unavailable, the tool says it could not verify the result.
How long does a Twitter shadowban last?
There is no universal duration this checker can determine. Low reach can have several causes, and this tool does not confirm an enforcement action. Check any notices from X, review your account settings, and use X’s support or appeal process when an actual restriction is shown.
What information is sent when I check an account?
Only after you submit, the username and optional reply link are sent to Fireply’s server. It queries public X pages and a third-party data service as needed. Results and the requested public identifiers are cached temporarily. Do not enter a password or private information.
